Insight telco was established in 2012 and has grown to be a leader in the market of telecommunication service providers, specializing in business solutions, civil telecommunication and interior solution. Pursuit Racing got to meet Mr Chanon Sresuth, the Managing Director of Insight Telco, who we met with and decided to support us last year. For the second round, Mr Sresuth still believed in Pursuit Racing and thus became our Silver sponsor as of 2018. Our interview with Mr Sresuth is available down below.

Q: What does Insight Telco do?

A: Insight Telco is a telecommunication service provider. Some of our work includes building Playstations and setting up fibre optic cables.

Q: At the moment, does your company, Insight Telco, have any projects that you would like to announce to the public?

A: Our speciality is Telco or technology. For sure we are trying to grow the business, but also shift our work to civil construction. However, we want to first improve the marketing aspect of Insight Telco to be more than just Telco or technology. We are looking forward to working on infrastructure. In 3-5 years, I believe Thailand will invest more in infrastructure development, such as the metro system. Some businesses, including ours, will be trying to shift their work to infrastructure in the very near future.

Q: What is your vision for Insight Telco 5 years from now?

A: In the next 5 years, we will still be finding other work segments to add balance to the S-curve of Insight Telco. As I previously told you, we are trying to be a multi-skilled company, so there will be other segments added to our work, for example, civil construction. We also want to do other things also, such as clean energy and workforce improvement, in which we supply businesses with highly-skilled workers. We hope that in 5-6 years, Insight Telco would be able to register in the stock exchange market.

Q: How has Insight Telco adapted to the rapidly advancing technology?

A: We don’t have to be bothered by the rapidly advancing technology. Sometimes it is unnecessary. If we look back at the history, low-quality technology was once turned into a long-term thing, in which we can also make a profit from.

Q: What is your opinion on the F1 in Schools™ STEM challenge?

A: I believe this is an excellent opportunity. I’ve never before known what STEM is until Pursuit Racing sent me their information and stories. After reading some, I felt ‘this is it’. STEM is the core education that Thai students need to improve their knowledge. Things like this will improve our country. I believe in F1 in Schools, which is brought to Thailand for the first time last year and has students from Amnuay Silpa school competing. I heard that this year there are many more schools from Bangkok competing as well. This means that the competition is growing. I feel so happy to be a part of the first-generation F1 in Schools team from Amnuay Silpa school.

Q: What made Insight Telco decide to support the F1 in Schools™ STEM challenge a second time?

A: This is a very easy question to answer. It is the achievement of Pursuit Racing from 2017 that gives me trust to 100% support Pursuit Racing. Your achievement from last year was way above my expectation and I feel welcome to support you again this year.

Q: What are your expectations for our team this year?

A: I want every member of Pursuit Racing to be working happily. I want Pursuit Racing to share the capability and ability of Thai students to the rest of the world. I want Pursuit Racing to share Thainess to other countries, but also learn what they are up to as well. In the end, I wish Pursuit Racing will hold on to the standard of last year. I wish the old members will share what they know to the new members and members of the new generation of Pursuit Racing. I wish Pursuit Racing will be a long-lasting team.

Q: Lastly, what advice can you give our team?

A: I feel that Pursuit Racing schedule is not quite right. Last year, the team focused too much on the car aspect and the schedule and timing seemed rush and unorganized. This year, if you have time, I want Pursuit Racing to set an organized schedule ahead of time. Well, I understand that last year was your first year and you didn’t have enough time, but this year you have plenty of time. Therefore, this year I want Pursuit Racing to set a schedule, considering the priority of what should be done first or last.
